Come Shine for Jesus Women's Conference
Please join us at Honey Lake Valley Assembly of God, 464-905 Standish Buntingville Road, for a two day event that starts on Friday, May 17th at 5:30 with a taco dinner.
Saturday May 18th will begin at 9:30 am with coffee and doughnuts. The program will begin at 10:00 am. Lunch will also be included. The cost will be $15. Childcare will be available for an additional $5. You can pay by visiting this link and selecting “Women’s Ministry Fund - Books, etc.”; mailing a check to P.O. Box 609 Janesville, CA and marking it for “Women’s Retreat”; or giving money or a check to Theresa. If you are bringing children, please bring a sack lunch for them on Saturday.

Man Camp
Join us at Blue Lake for our Annual Man Camp. We will have special guest speaker Pastor Smokey Denna this year. Lots of fishing and golf. The cost for this event is $65 per person, which includes brunch and dinner. If you’re interested, sign up with Pastor Darren or Pastor Tony.
Church in the Park
Honey Lake Valley Assembly of God, Standish Bible Church, Log Cabin Church, Janesville Christian Fellowship, and Acts Fellowship join together for a morning of worship and a message in Janesville Park. The service will be followed by a free BBQ lunch.
High Power Basketball Camp VBS
Our VBS is a FREE, week-long morning event that is packed with fun, friends, and fellowship for all. Kids from age 5 through 13 learn the basics of the gospel, while participating in an exciting basketball environment.
Family Camp
Join us at Antelope Lake Long Point Campground for HLVA’s Family Camp. Unfortunately, due to the economy, we have to charge this year. The cost will be $75 per trailer, and $40 per tent. The Rojas family will be making breakfast burritos for everyone every morning. Provide your own lunches. Dinners will be potluck style. Thursday night bring a side dish to share, and provide your own main course. Friday night bring a side dish to share, and carne asada will be provided. Saturday night, bring a side dish to share, and we will be having a fish fry with the fish that is caught all weekend. There will also be a cornhole tournament for anyone in high school or older.

Food Pantry Luncheon Fundraiser
Please help us feed the community by attending this Luncheon to benefit the God Cares Food Pantry. The menu will be pulled pork sandwiches, baked beans, coleslaw, and dessert. The cost is on donation basis. It will be immediately following the morning service.
Resurrection Sunday
He is risen! Please join us on Resurrection Sunday at 6:30am for a sunrise service with music and a message immediately followed by breakfast. We will then have our regular Sunday Service at 10:30am with an Easter Egg Hunt for children ages 2-5th grade following that.

Valentine's Banquet
Please join us for HLVA’s Annual Valentine’s Banquet. We will be having a Tri-Tip and Chicken dinner with salad, green beans, rolls, and dessert. Please bring a dessert or handmade item to donate to our auction which will be benefiting our “New Projector” fund. The cost is $15 per person.

March for Life
Mark your calendar and then unite with us to proclaim the Sanctity of Human Life, as we march up and down Main Street! Loving, peaceful, Pro-Life signs are provided. This family event welcomes all who will take a loving stand against abortion by simply walking. The event starts at the Lassen Shopping Center and runs for about 75 minutes! Questions? Call 257-MOMS.
Membership Class
Anyone who is interested in becoming a member of our church (especially before the Annual Business Meeting), please stay after the Fundraiser Luncheon for this Membership Class.
Food Pantry Fundraiser Luncheon
This will be a fundraiser benefiting the Food Pantry at HLVA following the morning service. Please take a ticket from the foyer if you plan on attending. Tickets are just to get an idea of how many we will have. Donations will be accepted at the event. The food served will be ham and cheese sliders and soup. There will also be some plain cheese sliders for those who don’t like ham.

Please join us at HLVA for a water baptism during the morning service. If you understand what it means to be baptized, and would like to make this profession of your faith, please sign up in the foyer.
Un-Decorate the Church from Christmas
We will be meeting to un-decorate the Church from Christmas on Saturday, January 6th at 9am. This is the sad part, but it has to be done. Lunch will be provided.
Christmas Eve Communion
Please join us for Christmas Eve Communion at HLVA. We will start at 6:00pm with music and a short devotional, then Pastor Darren and Judi will serve communion to each family individually.
Christmas Caroling
We will be Christmas Caroling in the community as a group. We will meet at the church at 4:00pm SHARP to begin, and meet back at the church after for soup, bread, and dessert.
All Church Sing
Multiple churches from Lassen County will be meeting together for Worship and Christmas Carols. We will also be doing a Water Baptism. Contact Pastor Tony Loubet if your church is planning on participating. Finger Food/Dessert Fellowship following the event.
Women's Ministries Christmas Party
We will be doing a White Elephant Gift Exchange and Potluck Dinner. Please bring a gift valued at $30.
Women’s Ministries Birthday Lunch
We will be having lunch at the Mazatlan Grill to celebrate any ladies with birthdays in September, October, November, or December.
Annual Christmas Dinner
Please join us for HLVA’s Annual Christmas Dinner. The church will be providing hams, and side dishes will be potluck style. Please contact Judi Hogan to sign up to bring something. There will also be time for entertainment, so you can sign up to sing, read a poem, or any other talent you have.
