Jessica and I are excited to be here at HLVA! I personally have grown up here and consider HLVA my home church.
We look forward to seeing what God is going to do in this youth group and in this community.

Week one: “The Dark Knight”
WALK AWAY POINT:
Things that are beyond your control don’t have to determine who you become.
John 16:33 “I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.”
Week two: “17 Again”
WALK AWAY POINT:
Make choices today that will give you a future with no regrets.
Revelation 21:4 “He will wipe every tear from their eyes, and there will be no more death or sorrow or crying or pain. All these things are gone forever.”
Week three: “The Karate Kid”
WALK AWAY POINT:
Pursue teachers for your life who lead you to reflect Christ.
Matthew 7:13-14 “Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it. But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it.”
Week three: “I am Legend”
WALK AWAY POINT:
We are called to carry the light of Jesus to the world.
Ephesians 5:8 “For once you were full of darkness, but now you have light from the Lord.
